Full Job Description
Duties May Include
  • Design, develop, and support cloud initiatives to address customer-driven needs; manage multiple environments as a Linux SME ensuring compliance with security services and applications.
  • Communicate and mitigate operational issues as received; proactively identify root cause analysis (RCA) of baseline issues and establish feedback loops to the development team.
  • Review user metrics, system health, and overall performance; implement proactive measures to support operational availability as the SME.
  • Provide deployment support as a product SME; perform backfill tasking and develop/maintain troubleshooting script and playbook-based automation processes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation including network diagrams and data flow documentation; collaborate with Enterprise Services to ensure security compliance.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 4-6 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or similar technical role.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance; must be able to obtain and maintain a CI (Counterintelligence) polygraph.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification required before start date.
  • Two or more years of experience with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.).
  • Strong Linux background with familiarity with infrastructure management best practices.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering documentation creation (network diagrams, data flows, etc.).
  • Experience working with Agile team collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.
  • Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills; U.S. citizenship required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Oracle COTS product experience (Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Unified Directory, etc.).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Elastic tools (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash).
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures; familiarity with AWS technical performance versus cost management.
  • Familiarity with cross-domain architectures at various classification levels.
  • Experience with automated testing and monitoring; familiarity with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management processes.
