Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4-6 years in a Systems Administrator role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required before start date.
• Two years of experience with AWS services like EC2 and S3.
• Strong Linux experience with knowledge of infrastructure management best practices.
• Familiarity with creating systems engineering documentation (network diagrams, data flows).
• Proven experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud initiatives based on customer needs; manage Linux environments ensuring compliance.
• Communicate operational issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve baseline concerns.
• Monitor user metrics and system performance, implementing measures to ensure operational availability.
• Provide deployment support and develop automation processes through troubleshooting scripts and playbooks.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, collaborating to ensure security compliance.
