Program Manager

Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifecycle Support and Solutions Program Manager to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of support solutions programs, ensuring successful delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


Job Description:
  • Lead and manage lifecycle support solutions programs from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize program impact.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate program status, issues, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by aligning support solutions with client needs and expectations.


Qualifications:
  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. and at least 5 years of program management experience, preferably in lifecycle support or related industries.
  • Must have proven ability to manage complex programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Must have strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools.
  • Must have excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Must have experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Qualification:
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Security Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Prefer an Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel up to 25%.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $165,000 per hour
