Job Description:

The Lifecycle Planner will be responsible for managing and implementing engineering changes in our manufacturing processes. This role involves coordinating with various teams, including Engineering, manufacturing, Planning and sourcing, to ensure that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently. The Life Cycle Planner will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing "plan for every part" in Engineering Change orders ensuring that the phase in /phase out process is followed, change is coordinated across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and implement engineering change orders in coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  2. Review and approve engineering change requests, ensuring they are necessary, feasible, and beneficial.
  3. Maintain detailed documentation of engineering changes, including reasons for the change, the implementation process, and any impact on the manufacturing process, inventory,
  4. Coordinate with the procurement team to manage any changes in materials or suppliers resulting from engineering changes.
  5. Monitor the implementation of engineering changes to ensure they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  6. Provide training and guidance to team members on the engineering change process.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented engineering changes and make adjustments as necessary.
  8. Monitor slow moving inventory and provide recommendations to generate cash flow.


Required Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply chain management , or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineered configured to build environment
  3. 3+ years experience in Supply planning, or managing engineering change orders.
  4. Excellent project management skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (Oracle, WindChill, tableau)
  8. Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  9. Certification in Project Management or related field would be an advantage.
