JOB SUMMARYThe Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for following the patient's plan of care and providing treatment under the supervisor of the Registered Nurse.
DUTIES AND RESPSONSIBILITY- Implement plan of care initiated by the registered nurse.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.
- Collect assessment data and performs observation to report to and collaborate with RN(s) and physician(s).
- Participate in coordination of home health services with interdisciplinary team.
- Use equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in personal and professional growth and development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Valid CA Licensed Vocational Nurse License
- Maintain a current CPR certification
- IV Certification Required
- 2+ years of experience working in direct patient care
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order
