Qualifications

• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required.
• Experience with evaluations for children ages birth to 5 preferred.
• Familiarity with tools like ADOS 2 or CARS 2 is beneficial.
• Completion of EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings for EI Evaluations required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and families are essential.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player; professionalism is key.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological evaluations in home and school settings.
• Gather necessary information for social histories.
• Write and submit comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories promptly.
• Draft Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) goals.
• Assess the need for further evaluation based on observations and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
