  • Advanced knowledge of structured finance markets, including corporate collateralized loan obligations, structured credit, and related securitized products
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate transaction structures, collateral performance, documentation, and credit risk drivers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex credit views and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytical projects, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and mentor junior team members

Responsibilities

Lead the analysis of structured finance transactions while advancing analytical excellence, market insight, and operational effectiveness.
  • Model collateralized loan obligations, structured credit transactions, and other structured finance transactions
  • Review and analyze transaction documentation to identify and assess qualitative and structural risks
  • Prepare rating committee materials and present well-supported credit views and rating recommendations
  • Author transaction-related reports, thematic research, and market insights covering credit trends affecting structured credit sectors
  • Collaborate across analytical teams on market themes, research initiatives, analytical issues, and process improvement efforts
  • Represent Moody's in market-facing discussions with issuers, arrangers, investors, and other external stakeholders as needed
  • Coach and mentor junior analysts by providing guidance, feedback, and support for transaction analysis, research, and professional development
  • Advance AI-enabled analytical and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen analytical tools, and reduce operational risk

About the Team

Our Structured Credit and Collateralized Loan Obligation team is responsible for delivering independent, high-quality credit analysis on complex structured finance transactions. The team contributes to Moody's through rigorous analytical assessment, market-leading research, and engagement with a broad range of market participants. By joining the team, you will collaborate with experienced professionals across global structured finance markets while helping drive innovation through AI-enabled analytical tools, enhanced workflows, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $290,000.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
