Job Summary **This position is used to fill multiple vacancies. **This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. This Legal Operations Supervisor exists to supervise and provide oversight and direction to the Legal Counsel's Office Operations Unit and is responsible for designing and developing processes that provide coordination and support of legal filings for all administrative, civil, and criminal proceedings for the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that team members effectively complete their work in compliance with applicable statutes and rules as well as internal policies and quality assurance mechanisms.
- Serve as a member of the division's management/supervisor team.
- Supervise all assigned OIG Legal Division staff to ensure unit objectives are effectively accomplished.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the development of new platforms and tools as it relates to the workstreams under their line of supervision.
- Supervise the division's case management processes and address administrative and technical needs, including development, implementation, and maintenance of assigned legal workstreams within existing case management systems and tools.
- Continuously maintain knowledge of statutes, regulations, and policies governing OIG Legal administrative work and serve as an active participant in the OIG Legal Counsel's Office leadership team.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications **To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.** Demonstrated leadership experience*
*Leadership experience can include:
- Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead
- Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4);
- A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include:
- 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions o
- 100+ hours per year time commitment
AND
Three (3) years of leading process development, implementation, and continuous improvement in a legal setting; AND
Experience must demonstrate the following:
- Manage the performance and professional development of staff.
- Develop and oversee quality assurance measures.
- Monitor and ensure work processes comply with applicable state and federal rules, regulations, statutes and/or policies.
Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated knowledge of the administrative hearing processes.
- Technical skills to lead technology projects and assist the staff they lead in succeeding in their work.
- Knowledge of and skill in navigating NETStudy2.0, SharePoint, AgileApps, FileNet and ELMS to find and verify data on persons, license holders, and other entities that interact with DHS.
- Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- Experience using reliable data sources to drive decision making and solve problems.
- Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
