The Corporate Counsel, Compliance is a key member of lululemon's Global Legal Compliance team. The team partners across the organization to identify and manage legal and regulatory risk while enabling responsible business growth. This role works closely with Product Integrity, Product Quality, Sustainability, Trade Compliance, Government Affairs, and other cross-functional partners to prepare the

business for evolving regulatory requirements and develop practical solutions that support lululemon's goals.

core responsibilities

The Legal Counsel, Compliance provides practical, business-focused legal guidance on legal and compliance matters affecting lululemon's products, services, operations, and strategic initiatives. This

role monitors regulatory developments, interprets legal requirements in the context of the business, and helps cross-functional teams prepare for and implement change.

• Monitor legal, regulatory, and enforcement developments across relevant jurisdictions and assess their potential impact on the business.
• Translate complex legal requirements into clear, practical guidance for business partners and senior leaders.
• Advise on compliance considerations relating to products, services, new initiatives, complaints, and issue resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Sustainability, Traceability, Trade, Product Integrity and Chemicals Management, to evaluate legal and compliance risk and develop practical mitigation strategies that support business objectives.
• Support timely implementation of new or changing regulatory requirements, including identifying readiness gaps and helping teams establish appropriate processes.
• Conduct legal research and provide counsel on emerging compliance issues and new product or business initiatives.
• Develop and support compliance policies, guidance, best practices, tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs on lobbying registration and gift and entertainment policy compliance.
• Work with the broader Legal team to support compliance program execution, legal research, program maturity, and reporting.

qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree, or their equivalents, from accredited institutions.
• Active bar membership or the ability to register as in-house counsel in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Four or more years of relevant compliance or legal experience.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret laws, rules, and regulations and provide practical, risk-based legal advice.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial and operational objectives.
• Strong project-management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
• Highly collaborative, organized, proactive, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changes in scope or direction, and resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
• Willingness and ability to learn new substantive areas and support a broad range of business teams.
• Global, retail, consumer-product, or in-house experience is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$139,400 - 182,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
