Full Job Description

Position Summary

The RMNI IP Compliance group administers the Company’s global intellectual property (IP) compliance program, including initiatives such as compliance monitoring, training, and investigations; privacy and risk assessments; and third-party due diligence. As a Legal Analyst, IP Compliance, you’ll be working on the front lines to protect the Company and ensure that RMNI personnel act with integrity in all aspects of our business.

This role ensures adherence to IP compliance and legal standards across the organization. Responsibilities include conducting document reviews, managing compliance communications, and supporting global initiatives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder communication are essential. The role is responsible for the provision of expertise as it pertains to the analysis and evaluation of IP in support of the IP Compliance function

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct document review and legal analysis of materials from company resources (VDI drives, laptop scans, U-drive, Department Shares, Salesforce, ServiceNow, ShareFile, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
  • Conduct legal analysis of reported correspondence, identified systems, and scanned materials for policy violations; determine actions and communicate findings.
  • Communicate and archive materials requiring action; archive materials with violations using multiple platforms.
  • Manage reported compliance correspondence, respond to inquiries, and maintain detailed records of the correspondence and determinations.
  • Manage client notifications and Colleague communication for policy compliance, as needed.
  • Compile compliance reports and update knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to present statistics in dashboards.
  • Investigation of insider threats, data loss, and operational disruption using solutions such as Microsoft Purview.
  • Support e-discovery requests and workflow audits.
  • Manage large data sets and archive files and perform ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Handle prioritized projects and special assignments.
  • Utilize repeatable project plans and best practices to manage the IP Compliance tasks and contribute feedback for process improvement.
  • Manage the IP Compliance products related support cases for proper and timely updates in accordance with the SLAs for internal clients.
  • Self-training and self-study for achieving certifications in IP Compliance related standards and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Nuix Adaptive, Nuix Automate, Nuix Investigate, Microsoft DLP tools, Druva, ServiceNow, Purview, SharePoint, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Teams, OneDrive, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Generate and implement searches for key documents in the database.
  • Educate users on compliance with internal policies.
  • Perform quality controls on deliverables.
  • Design and execute projects workflow.
  • Draft document review reports.
  • Conduct factual research.
  • Perform quality assurance on compliance processes; recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Manage large data sets, archive files, and work with databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and supporting business processes skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in legal or compliance roles with data analysis experience.
  • IP Legal and E-Discovery experience preferred; proficiency with related systems such as NUIX and Purview Content Search.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (PeopleSoft, JDE, Siebel, EBS).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree related to Business, Compliance, Legal or equivalent experience.

The general salary range for this type of role is 90k - 120k depending on skills and experience. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be based on several factors such as: a candidate's location, and the level of applicable skills and professional experience. Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.
