Job Overview & ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Legal Assistant will provide essential administrative and legal support to attorneys, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the law department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage outside counsel engagements, including maintaining engagement agreements, reviewing invoices, and submitting invoices for approvals and payment.
- Manage calendars, including scheduling and moving appointments as necessary
- Track department budgets and spending and explore opportunities for cost savings
- Develop power points and spreadsheet presentations
- Manage travel and expenses
- Maintain and organize electronic and hard copy documents and files
- Drafting correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, including meeting notices, meeting rooms, visitor forms / badging, required catering, and parking, etc
- Manage files and record retention needs
- Special projects as needed
Required EducationHigh School/GED
Required Years of ExperienceMinimum of 6 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications- HS Diploma or GED, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience OR AA, AAS or AS degree in Office/Business Administration or related discipline, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in a corporate law department or law firm
- Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently under minimal supervision.
Preferred QualificationsSummary Salary Range (for ULA - Denveronly): $67,589.00 - $112,649.00
