Opportunity OverviewAs a subject matter expert and advocate for client and family-centric holistic wealth management, you will play a key role within the Client Consultation Group. You will partner with branch teams to design and deliver tailored, values and goals-based wealth planning strategies for clients.
This role requires an integrated, holistic approach to wealth planning. You will collaborate closely with internal specialists as well as clients' external advisors, including tax, legal, and other professionals-to address complex planning needs. Leveraging a full suite of planning tools and resources, you will help clients achieve their financial objectives with the ultimate goal of improving their sense of financial fulfillment.
In addition, you will contribute to division-wide initiatives, projects, and training programs aimed at strengthening capabilities across the organization. Through your leadership and expertise, you will help drive continuous improvement, create meaningful impact, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and belonging.
Position RequirementsRequired:- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Accredited financial planning designation (CFP, Pl.Fin-IQPF applicable for Quebec)
- Professional designations such as CFA, CPA, LLP, JD, TEP, FEA would be an asset
- Advanced degree an asset
- Additional coaching or facilitation courses considered an asset
Desired:- Life insurance license or knowledge an asset
- Estate and/or tax courses
- Strong understanding of the comprehensive financial planning process including retirement planning, cash flow planning, investment planning, tax planning, estate planning and protection planning
- Strong presentation and communication skills especially including the ability to present complex financial strategies in a professional manner that is easily understood
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting and financial planning software tools.
- The ability to work well within a team environment.
- Additional languages, especially French, considered an asset.
Years of Relevant Experience:- A minimum of 8+ years' experience as a high-net-worth financial planner and a proven track record in team or project leadership
