Full Job Description
The Lead, Training & Change Management is responsible for driving strategic communications and training enablement to support enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives for the delivery enablement team. This role specializes in executive-level messaging, stakeholder communications, and change adoption, ensuring that complex concepts are translated into clear, actionable insights across all levels of the organization. This leader partners across business, technology, and vendor teams to design impactful communications, develop training programs, and implement structured change management approaches that drive successful adoption and sustained outcomes, including those tied to enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and Jira Align. The Lead, Training & Change Management develops and executes comprehensive communication and training strategies that support large-scale initiatives, including implementation and adoption of enterprise delivery and portfolio management tools. Key Responsibilities Strategic Communications & Executive Engagement Develop, edit, and deliver executive-level communications with clarity, precision, and strong executive presence Translate complex technical, operational, and tool-related concepts (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Align) into tailored messaging for diverse audiences Create communication strategies aligned to transformation initiatives and organizational priorities Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and stakeholders Provide advisory support to leadership on communication approach, tone, and effectiveness Training Design & Delivery Design and develop training programs and materials supporting process, tool, and organizational changes Build training content specifically for enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Align, and similar PPM or workflow platforms Create visually compelling assets using PowerPoint, graphics, and instructional design best practices Deliver live and virtual training sessions, including tool demonstrations and process walkthroughs Ensure training aligns with adult learning principles and drives measurable adoption Change Management Leadership Apply structured change management methodologies (Prosci, change agent frameworks, or similar) Lead change efforts related to technology adoption, including ServiceNow, Jira Align, and portfolio delivery tools Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and readiness evaluations Drive adoption strategies that align communication, training, and process changes Identify resistance and develop mitigation strategies Content Development & Knowledge Management Establish and maintain a centralized repository for communications, training materials, and documentation Leverage SharePoint or similar platforms to manage content related to governance, tools, and processes Ensure training and communication materials for ServiceNow, Jira Align, and related tools are current and accessible Implement standards for content governance, version control, and lifecycle management AI-Enabled Communication & Training Innovation Utilize AI tools to streamline communication development, training content creation, and documentation efforts Apply advanced prompting techniques to generate and refine messaging, training materials, and presentations Identify opportunities to automate communication workflows and improve efficiency Stakeholder Collaboration & Tool Adoption Partner with stakeholders across technology, business, and vendors to support adoption of tools and processes Act as a key enabler for ServiceNow, Jira Align, and other enterprise platforms, ensuring user understanding and engagement Facilitate workshops to translate strategy into process flows, workflows, and tool usage Support cross-functional alignment between delivery teams, PMO, and governance organizations Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 8+ years of experience in communications, training, change management, or related roles Strong executive communication skills and presence Proven ability to draft, edit, and deliver communications for all levels of the organization Experience designing and delivering training programs, including tool-based training Demonstrated experience supporting or training on ServiceNow, Jira Align, or similar enterprise tools (PPM, Agile, workflow platforms) Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, visual storytelling, and instructional design Experience leveraging AI tools and prompt engineering for communication and training efficiency Knowledge of change management frameworks (Prosci or similar) Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels, including process flows and workflows Experience presenting, facilitating workshops, and delivering training Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Technology, or related field Prosci Certification or equivalent Experience in healthcare insurance or highly regulated environments Experience supporting ServiceNow PPM, Jira Align, or similar platforms at scale Experience using SharePoint for knowledge management and repositories Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) PMP or related certification Experience supporting enterprise transformation or PMO initiatives Additional Information: Limited Geography Remote - This is a remote position but located within a specific geography To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Work at Home Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.   $106,900 - $147,000 per year   This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
