This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Technology Systems Engineer, with the potential to work out of any WSP office, which includes Dallas, TX; Virginia Beach, VA; New York City, NY; Arlington, VA; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; San Diego, CA; San Antonio, TX; Seattle, WA; and Tacoma, WA. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact
  • Serve as a resource for the delivery of campus outside plant, structured cabling systems, audio/visual and electronic security systems design
  • Work with other design team members to deliver projects from concept design through construction administration.
  • Responsible for oversight of the entire design process for select projects, and/or assisting as a technical expert on specialized project components.
  • While working on several concurrent projects, maintaining proper quality standards on all deliverables and adhering to project schedules and budgets.


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience designing structured cabling systems infrastructure, audio visual, and electronic security systems.
  • Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution (RCDD) certification.
  • Proficient designing using Autodesk Revit (starting, linking and setting up models, navigating views, 3D plans, trouble shooting, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
  • Create and perform quality control of construction documents (drawings and specifications).
  • Due to client requirements, must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $115,100 - $175,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $115,100 - $160,000
