The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a complex long-term heritage renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. The project is serviced by CENTRUS, a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team with members from A49 and other joint venture organizations. Working from Canada's national capital, the team is focused on the extensive renovation, repair, upgrade, and replacement of various crucial components of the building. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior technical and production lead, acting as a key point of contact for clients, public-sector stakeholders, and project partners
  • Lead and oversee complex project requirements, coordinating internal teams and external consultants from Design Development through construction completion
  • Provide strategic oversight of project budgets during Design Development and Production phases, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance and quality control standards, conducting senior-level reviews at all project milestones
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate client, consultant, and internal project meetings, ensuring clear communication, documentation, and follow-through on decisions
  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and issuance of all deliverables, including permit, bid, and construction packages, ensuring compliance with public-sector and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and coordinate site assessments and field reviews, translating site and construction conditions into coordinated design and production solutions
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance support to intermediate and junior staff, fostering best practices in production, BIM, and design coordination
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and production processes within a fully integrated BIM environment

Qualifications
  • Minimum 20 years experience
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience delivering large-scale architectural projects from Design Development through construction completion, including public infrastructure and government-funded projects
  • Proven experience working in constrained and complex spatial environments, with the ability to resolve coordination and constructability challenges
  • Extensive experience delivering projects in a fully integrated BIM environment, with a strong understanding of BIM execution, coordination, clash detection, and model-based workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, with a clear, practical understanding of Revit-based production, coordination, and documentation standards; We work entirely in a Revit environment
  • Strong understanding of National and Provincial building codes and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines across multiple complex projects
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and public-sector clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat
  • Minimum educational requirement is Architectural Technologist
  • **Must be eligible for PSPC Secret clearance


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $93,700 - $124,200

MB & ON: $85,500 - $117,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $84,700 - $112,400
