Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Join our Enterprise Resiliency team as a Lead Technical Risk Specialist, where you'll drive organizational resilience and audit readiness across our technology portfolio. This strategic leadership role serves as the central hub for managing compliance, vulnerabilities, and audit findings. You'll work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams using a disciplined Identify, Monitor, and Manage approach-systematically uncovering potential risks across servers and applications, continuously tracking their status and impact, and orchestrating resolution efforts to minimize organizational exposure. Your work ensures our systems remain secure, compliant, and resilient while maintaining a zero-tolerance standard for missed risk commitments. This position is essential to maintaining our operational excellence and protecting our enterprise infrastructure.

What will you do?
  • Lead comprehensive risk management initiatives including compliance, audit findings, and vulnerability remediation across our technology environment
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technology teams and governance leadership on all risk-related matters
  • Develop and maintain centralized risk tracking systems and dashboards to monitor vulnerabilities, findings, and compliance gaps
  • Build and maintain an Audit Readiness Program to ensure continuous preparedness for internal and external audits
  • Present risk status, metrics, and recommendations to senior leadership on a weekly basis
  • Establish controls, documentation standards, and repositories for all risk data and tracking information

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 3-5 years of risk management, compliance, or audit experience in a technology or IT environment
  • Demonstrated track record leading risk initiatives and driving remediation to completion
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and security assessments
  • Knowledge of governance processes and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence across all levels-from technical teams to senior leadership-translating complex risk information into clear, actionable insights and securing buy-in for remediation priorities and timelines

Nice-to-have
  • Certification in risk management or compliance (CRISC or equivalent)
  • Experience with observability or monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Pagerduty, or similar)
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure including servers, applications, and cloud services

What's in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation and stock where applicable
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team
  • A world-class training program in financial services
