About the Job
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders and other operational areas to ensure complete understanding of processes.
  • Create and support static and ad-hoc report requests generated by business users.
  • OCC Compliance reporting, including data quality and audit support for HMDA and Reg. B


Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Intra-month and month-end general ledger reconciliation and reporting for CMG revenue
  • Resolution of loan-level revenue variances between source systems and general ledger
  • Reconciliation and analysis of CMG warehouse line activity and balances, and related interest income and funding charges
  • Reconciliation of CLOSER system with Tableau and results published by Finance
  • Quarterly regulatory reporting for warehouse activity and balances; support of related audit requests
  • Revenue projection support and maintenance
  • Expense analysis


Systems Support:
  • Provide first level of assistance for production support requests. Verify support issues are properly documented and clearly defined. Work with system manager to determine priority and resolution method.
  • Assist operational areas with systems components of special projects.
  • Provide business expertise relative to products, systems and specifications for customizing software applications, interfaces, reports, screens, etc.
  • Identify the business needs of the users, outline potential solutions, and translate to an appropriate format for technical requirements.
  • Collaborates with users, vendor, and development team members to deliver the best technical solution which meets the business requirements.
  • Assist with testing, implementation and training for new technology and enhancements to existing technology.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; additional coursework in management information systems preferred.
  • Minimum three to five years of accounting or comparable experience.
  • Familiarity with general ledger posting and reconciliation processes, as well as revenue recognition principles.
  • Ability to research and resolve financial reporting variances.
  • Ability to self-teach software packages.
  • High-level understanding of interface mechanics, relational database theory and basic programming concepts
  • Strong background working with on-line information systems including PC-based systems and thorough knowledge of PC spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Exposure to loan servicing and commercial real estate principles a plus.
  • Experience in each stage of the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with CLOSER, KART, Workday (General Ledger), Crystal Reports, SQL, Tableau

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
