Position Description

PARIC Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex construction projects. This role is responsible for direct supervision of field labor and trade partners, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Senior Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in coordinating field operations, mentoring team members, shaping site culture, and driving execution strategies that align with overall project and company goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision of field labor and trade partners, ensuring accountability for safety, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Lead coordination across multiple trades and complex project areas, maintaining alignment with overall project execution goals.
  • Manage jobsite logistics, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries of materials and equipment to support project progress.
  • Oversee and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff, fostering team development and strong on-site leadership.
  • Lead schedule development during preconstruction in collaboration with Project Managers, proactively identifying conflicts and maintaining the critical path.
  • Communicate scheduling plans, site progress, and updates clearly to field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in bid reviews to validate constructability, field assumptions, and schedule alignment.
  • Monitor field performance and its impact on project costs and company margins, driving accountability for cost control and labor efficiency.
  • Anticipate and manage cost impacts related to sequencing, weather, and site constraints; support change order strategy, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Align field execution, staffing, and logistics with project financial goals and overall business objectives.
  • Lead constructability reviews to optimize design solutions for efficient field execution.
  • Drive innovation in construction methods, including prefabrication, modularization, and lean practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Oversee and enforce QA/QC programs, including development of quality plans, inspection workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to enhance performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders through transparency and proactive communication.
  • Anticipate client needs and manage expectations related to schedule, site conditions, and potential risks.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for complex field issues, ensuring clear and effective communication across all parties.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively engage with executives, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture across all jobsite activities.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
