The Lead, Strategic Advisor serves as a trusted partner to Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) leadership, advancing cybersecurity strategy through executive advisory, strategic planning, executive communications, and organizational transformation. Working across multiple cybersecurity functions, this role translates enterprise priorities into actionable plans, aligns stakeholders on strategic initiatives, and enables successful execution of the organization's highest-priority objectives.
The Lead, Strategic Advisor partners with senior leaders across Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) to shape, communicate, and execute Humana's cybersecurity strategy. This role provides strategic advisory services that strengthen leadership capacity and effectiveness, improve organizational alignment, and enable execution of enterprise cybersecurity priorities.
Strategic Advisory & Planning- Partner with EIP executives to develop cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and operating models that support enterprise priorities
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable priorities that improve organizational effectiveness
- Develop strategic recommendations and business cases to support executive decision-making and investment planning
Executive Advisory & Communications- Develop executive and Board-level presentations, strategic communications, leadership briefings, and executive messaging
- Translate complex cybersecurity, technology, and risk concepts into clear, business-focused narratives for different audiences
- Prepare leaders for Board engagements, executive forums, regulatory discussions, and strategic planning sessions
Cybersecurity Enablement- Support organizational transformation initiatives, operating model evolution, and strategic capability development across EIP
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment to improve execution of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives
- Identify organizational risks, execution challenges, and opportunities to improve strategic delivery
Organizational enablement- Partner with leaders to drive successful adoption of strategic initiatives through organizational planning, stakeholder engagement, communications and change leadership
- Improve organizational readiness and execution by connecting executive priorities with operations across cybersecurity functions
- Foster collaboration across business teams to accelerate enterprise outcomes
Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology strategy, management consulting, enterprise transformation, executive communications, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience advising senior executives on strategic initiatives and organizational transformation
- Exceptional executive communications, presentation development, and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to translate complex technical and cybersecurity concepts into business-focused recommendations
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in large, matrixed organizations
Preferred- Experience supporting C-suite executives, Boards, or Board committees
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other regulated industry
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and operating models
- Consulting or strategic advisory background with strong executive presence

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$142,200 - $195,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
