  • Ensure dispensed medicines are properly supplied and labeled
  • Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team regarding medication queries
  • Supervise the preparation of medicines
  • Perform 'on-call' duties as needed
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts between data entry, floor personnel and shipping to ensure routes go out on time
  • Manage workflow responsibilities with the Pharmacy Technician Shift Lead
  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration
  • Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled
  • Communicate with facilities' nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related queries
  • Supervise the preparation of any medicines
  • Perform "on-call" duties when required
  • Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge
