Responsibilities Position Description: Responsible for leading the speech-language pathology services for Palmdale Regional Medical Center . Participates in administrative activities including staff scheduling, performance review, quality monitoring/Improvement, and education/training. Within scope of service, evaluations, diagnoses, plans, and provides quality therapy treatments that meet patient individual needs, are medically prescribed, and necessary using the standards of professional practice.
Qualifications Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements: - Experience in diagnosing and treating swallow disorders.
- Ability to analyze test results to determine patients' communicative abilities to determine necessary therapy.
- Knowledge of EMR documentation
- Masters's degree In Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited College or University.
- Three (3) or more years' experience as a speech-language pathologist.
- Current California License or eligible to obtain immediately after hire.
- AHA BLS certification
- ASHA certification
