Principal Sourcing Manager
Overall Purpose
Optimizes procurement strategies by managing, negotiating, monitoring, and sourcing vendor and subcontractor contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Contract Negotiation and Management
- Lead negotiations for vendor and subcontractor contracts.
- Manage contract modifications and amendments.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Align contract strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
Procurement Strategy Development
- Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research and analysis.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and supplier performance.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management
- Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance.
- Resolve commercial contract issues.
- Oversee licensing agreements, invoicing processes, and receivable-related matters.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify potential supply chain and procurement risks.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Maintain adherence to established procurement governance and controls.
Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement
- Monitor procurement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness across procurement and supply chain operations.
