REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 4807 Stonecroft Blvd., Chantilly, VA  20151 [Hybrid]

DUTIES: Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications, and collaborate with engineers/architect to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects, and clients, to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Responsible for dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and/or user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Utilize Python, PL/SQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Utilize UNIX/Linux, and Shell scripting. Utilize Java Full Stack and Large Language Model experience to include Retrieval Augmented Generation and other Machine Learning automation. Work with large scale enterprise applications where solutions need to be streamlined to support very large data sets and that need to be performance tuned. Build and architecting a dynamic scalable solution to work with high volume of data and transactions.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Python, PL/SQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL; utilizing UNIX/Linux, and Shell scripting;   utilizing Java Full Stack and Large Language Model experience to include Retrieval Augmented Generation and other Machine Learning automation; working with large scale enterprise applications where solutions need to be streamlined to support very large data sets and that need to be performance tuned; and building and architecting a dynamic scalable solution to work with high volume of data and transactions.

Our Lead Software Engineerings earn between $180,250 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
