Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow AI

The Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow reports directly to the Engineering Manager. As a Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, you would be responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions with the deep expertise in Now Assist and Agentic AI implementation within the ServiceNow Platform.

This role requires a hands-on who combines deep platform expertise, AI-driven automation, and integration architecture to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned ServiceNow solutions. You will be a key technical authority driving the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions across our enterprise ServiceNow environment.

Responsibilities include working closely with the product management team to ensure we deliver the best user experiences.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Own the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture across Now Assist capabilities related to Platform, ITSM and HRSD.
  • Design scalable, upgrade-safe solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Lead technical design reviews and architecture governance
  • Integrate ServiceNow with large language models and third-party AI services.
  • Define and govern AI skill configurations, virtual agent flows.
  • Ensure data security, role-based access, and compliance
  • Monitor AI feature performance, fine tune agentic workflows and drive adoption metrics across business units
  • Architect Agentic AI workflows to enable autonomous or semi-autonomous task execution
  • Identify opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces manual effort and improves service outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders, product owners & enterprise architect
  • Influence roadmap planning, platform strategy, and prioritization decisions
  • Promotes a supportive and collaborative teamwork environment across diverse groups
  • Evaluates interdependencies; thinks critically / systemically when solving problems

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
