Lead Simulation Software Architect
Position Responsibilities: - Leads and actively contribute to the development of requirements, architectures, and simulation models for various satellite subsystems
- Plans and execute software development tasks across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, integration, testing, and deployment, in accordance with product specifications
- Works independently and collaboratively to complete trade studies, detailed designs, and verification and validation activities
- Delivers innovative, high-impact solutions to complex technical challenges
- Provides critical technical support and independent review of teammates' work products
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years' experience with systems and software architectures
- 5+ years' experience programming in C/C++
- Experience communicating complex technical risks, translating impact, and advising senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience
- Experience with simulation products, including both Commercial Off-The-Shelf
- (COTS) and open-source solutions.
- Experience with infrastructure tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Program Increment Planning

Summary pay range: USD $171,700 - $232,300
