We currently have a career opportunity for a ServiceNow Lead Technical Consultant to join our team.

As a Lead Technical Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM solutions.
  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and CMDB modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Configuration Management.
  • Customize ServiceNow flows, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications to support ITSM, ITOM and CMDB processes and automation.
  • Utilize UI builder to create/customize next experience workspaces and advanced dashboards.
  • Build strategies and provide guidance to the customer in aligning ITOM solutions with CSDM framework.
  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
  • Configure and maintain the CMDB data model, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration item (CI) information.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other tools and external platforms using APIs and web services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement ITOM and CMDB best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ITIL processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and customizations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary fixes or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other developers, administrators, and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions that meet the ITOM and CMDB needs of the organization
  • Document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures for ServiceNow applications and configurations.


Qualifications

  • Passionate coders with 5-7 years of application development experience.
  • Client-facing or consulting experience highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major is preferred
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73008 to $170,640.
