Job Description

The U.S. Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead oversees daily U.S.-based GSOC operations to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, assets, and business operations. This role provides leadership, maintains situational awareness, and supervises GSOC Operators to ensure proper training, performance, and compliance with standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating responses to incidents and emergencies, managing reporting and escalation procedures, supporting crisis management and business continuity efforts, monitoring security systems, improving operational processes, and managing staffing and scheduling. The U.S. GSOC Lead works closely with leadership, law enforcement, and external partners while demonstrating strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to your Physical Security Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on an on-site work schedule.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee U.S. GSOC operations, ensuring full coverage and operational efficiency; partner with India GSOC operations to ensure 24/7 coverage and escalation
  • Supervise, train, and develop GSOC staff, including scheduling and performance management
  • Ability to adjust and respond to changing or incoming work hours based on operational needs.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, alarms, and global events, provide immediate support to the security team, business leaders, and stakeholders
  • Lead incident response efforts and ensure proper escalation protocols are followed
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Coordinate with internal teams, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed
  • Analyze security trends and produce incident reports and risk assessments; assist in metrics collection and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, policies and security best practices across corporate functions and business units
  • Manage GSOC systems such as CCTV, VMS. access control, travel security, emergency messaging, and incident management platforms
  • Develop and deploy technology and process innovation to drive awareness, efficiencies, and results


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of GSOC or security operations experience
  • At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, travel security, workplace violence, global intelligence, global security operations, and monitoring tools
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in report writing and incident documentation
  • Experience in a corporate or global security environment
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence and risk analysis
  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar preferred; college degree preferred
