Context

This role will support the SYSTRA Canada team on various projects in Toronto

Missions/Main Duties

As the Lead Scheduler, you will work with the program team to execute the following responsibilities:

·       Implement the project's planning and delivery strategies.

·       Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to identify and optimize sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation.

·       Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of activities.

·       Coordinate with various teams to develop schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures.

·       Attend planning meetings ensuring effect planning is done to reduce safety, maximise performance of engineering possessions.

·       Monitor and update the project's planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints.

This role will report to the Head of Planning.

Profile/Skills

Compentency Requirements : 

·       Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

·       Minimum five (10) years of experience in planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.

·       Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management

·       Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations

·       Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills

Salary : CAD 120,000 - 150,000 annually
