WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work both within the Nike Planning function and across the broader cross-functional organization including partnering closely with Sports Planning, Geo BP, Brand BP, EBP, Finance, and others to deliver top-down financial business plan in the Global Horizon. You will also work within the Global Sport team and BP community to bring new planning capacity to life, and work with Sport team to drive trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, margin and optimize overall consumer and inventory health.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Lead Brand Business Planner (BP) to join our Team! As a Lead Brand Business Planner, you will play a meaningful role in defining, crafting and setting consumer demand. You will be responsible for defining and leading multi-season sales trend, revenue, receipt and inventory plans for Kids sports FW and partner with Brand teams to serve consumer demand.

You can build hypothesis & data driven analysis, translating insights into action through problem solving and critical thinking skills. You possess a deep understanding of consumer, marketplace, product and inventory planning with actions that are grounded in qualitative research, data and insights to support your view. You are a great collaborator who proactively builds positive relationships across the organization with both upstream and downstream functions. Using your strong financial and commercial acuity, you show good judgment in making decisions and problem solving.

The candidate will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 6+ years experience in retail, planning and/or product management
  • Strong ability to influence & work constructively with others by communicating effectively.
  • Listens actively and contributes to advance the conversation.
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication, analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to collate and understand relevant market data that integrates and informs the Operating Plan; assessing risk and solving problems to deliver business results
  • Strong command of Retail metrics including Retail Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventories (marketplace + DC), Revenue and Margin with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcome


WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You'll be working with the Sport and broader Business Planning team to define and lead multi-season Operating Plans for Global Sport and Marketplace. You will set long range financial plans based on consumer demand and Sport strategies as well as reconcile assortment plans with operating plans to align to Sport architecture. Your top-down financial targets will inform franchise/style plans, financial forecasts and end-to-end inventory forecasts, including liquidation plans both within and across Geos and Sport. You'll work on the Sports and Product Engine and within the Business Planning community (Global and Geo) to reconcile forecasts and communicate results & impacts with cross-functional and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead multi-season Operating Plan for Sport and Product Engine
  • Adjust and align Operating Plan to Sport architecture based on targets and actuals
  • Support Global and Geo, Pre-Season top-down financial business targets (Operating Plan - Consumer Demand, Revenue, Margin and Inventory) for Geo, Gender, and Channel to inform Franchise/Style plans, Financial Forecasts and E2E Inventory Forecasts
  • Define location (Geo, Channel, Sport) consumer demand, revenue, receipt and inventory plans
  • Determine cross-Sport trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, Nike and partner margin and optimize overall marketplace inventory health
