Overview

CentraState Medical Center is currently seeking a Lead Radiology Technologist to support its Radiology Department. This role performs radiographic, fluoroscopic, and other imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The Lead Tech is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the X-ray section and plays a key role in mentoring and training students in a collaborative learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for examination.
• Takes images for diagnostic radiologic examinations according to established procedure. Scans required documents and transmits to the radiologist.
• Participates in the department's Quality Assurance Program.
• Participates in the hiring, orientation, training and supervision of respective Diagnostic Imaging section taff.
• Prepares the schedule for the x-ray section.
• Inventories and orders supplies for respective Diagnostic Imaging section as necessary while negotiating contracts and pricing with various vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal radiologic technology training at an AMA school.
• A minimum of five years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist required.
• NJ State License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Compensation Range: $35.00 - $59.50 per hour

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.

Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
