About The RoleRAM is seeking a Quality & Inspections Lead to support the delivery of inspection and quality services across a range of infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on utility-based programs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of team leadership, project delivery, client management, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will lead a team of inspectors and coordinators, support project execution across multiple active assignments, and play a key role in growing RAM's inspection and quality service offerings.
What You'll Be Working On- Lead, mentor, and support a team of inspectors and coordinators across multiple infrastructure and utility projects.
- Oversee day-to-day project delivery, including planning, resourcing, scheduling, and execution of inspection and quality services.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
- Review deliverables for quality and consistency, while helping resolve project issues, technical questions, and team escalations.
- Support team utilization, resource planning, billability, timesheets, invoicing, and financial tracking across your portfolio of work.
- Contribute to monthly forecasting, budgeting, and department performance targets.
- Support and lead proposal development, including methodology, resourcing, and costing for new opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts to help grow RAM's inspection and quality service lines.
- Promote RAM's QHSE culture, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help develop tools, procedures, and systems that improve project delivery.
What We're Looking For- 5-10 years of relevant experience in inspection, quality, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or related project environments.
- Previous experience leading teams in field-based or project delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of project coordination, client management, and quality service delivery.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, utility, energy, or transportation projects, with utility experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with proposals, client relationship management, and business development is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with BC Hydro standards, CSA, MMCD, and/or MoTI requirements would be an asset.
- Engineering degree, Civil or Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Professional designation such as P.Eng., AScT, or EIT is considered an asset.
- Based in or able to work out of RAM's Vancouver office, with travel to project sites as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
Compensation & BenefitsThe estimated annual base salary for this position is
$90,000 - $110,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
