About The Role

RAM is seeking a Quality & Inspections Lead to support the delivery of inspection and quality services across a range of infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on utility-based programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of team leadership, project delivery, client management, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will lead a team of inspectors and coordinators, support project execution across multiple active assignments, and play a key role in growing RAM's inspection and quality service offerings.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of inspectors and coordinators across multiple infrastructure and utility projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day project delivery, including planning, resourcing, scheduling, and execution of inspection and quality services.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
  • Review deliverables for quality and consistency, while helping resolve project issues, technical questions, and team escalations.
  • Support team utilization, resource planning, billability, timesheets, invoicing, and financial tracking across your portfolio of work.
  • Contribute to monthly forecasting, budgeting, and department performance targets.
  • Support and lead proposal development, including methodology, resourcing, and costing for new opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts to help grow RAM's inspection and quality service lines.
  • Promote RAM's QHSE culture, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help develop tools, procedures, and systems that improve project delivery.


What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in inspection, quality, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or related project environments.
  • Previous experience leading teams in field-based or project delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of project coordination, client management, and quality service delivery.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, utility, energy, or transportation projects, with utility experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with proposals, client relationship management, and business development is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with BC Hydro standards, CSA, MMCD, and/or MoTI requirements would be an asset.
  • Engineering degree, Civil or Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Professional designation such as P.Eng., AScT, or EIT is considered an asset.
  • Based in or able to work out of RAM's Vancouver office, with travel to project sites as required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license required.


Compensation & Benefits

The estimated annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.

Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive bonus program or the comprehensive benefits package offered by RAM Consulting.
