The Impact you will have in this role:

The Lead Project Manager is focused on structuring and organizing projects that are complex with significant cross-functional collaboration requirements, setting milestones in conjunction with the Area Lead taking into consideration business time-to-market requirements and coordinating with each team that delivers to those outcomes to meet them. The candidate must be a self-starter, possess great written and verbal communication skills, and be able to engage both executive and technical audiences. They must demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude and be a team player. They must possess the ability to push for target dates, while being empathetic to challenges and obstacles and be the team's voice in raising and mitigating risks with the help of senior management. The candidate must be open to new and modern approaches to delivery, including agile Program Increment planning processes.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the iterative business planning process
  • Successfully plan and track execution while maintaining profitable engagement with stakeholders. Work closely with all project stakeholder groups to coordinate the project milestones.
  • Define, plan, document and review project scope
  • Understand and translate cross-team dependencies into actionable plans
  • Identify and secure resources required to execute the plan and monitor resource utilization by continuously analyzing staffing requirements and resource allocations.
  • Ensure delivered products meet defined business requirements and are of high quality
  • Proactively identify and manage risks. Plan for an effective risk mitigation
  • Lead and define the change management process for projects
  • Define and lead financial management for the project if necessary, with the ability to track project actuals against defined milestones
  • Track projects against approved budgets and report on forecasts and variances
  • Provide periodic progress report on project status and create a dashboard or required decks to keep sponsor and executives abreast of status and hold them accountable for facilitating mitigation of risks and resolution of escalated issues
  • Inspire and lead through effective team management
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to meet the desired objectives
  • Build a communications strategy and execution plan for the project
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience


Talents Needed for Success:
  • 5+ years as a project manager with Infrastructure delivery project experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery of 1 to 3 projects simultaneously through structure execution and routines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project accounting and artifacts including status, project plans, etc.
  • Excellent project routine facilitation and skills
  • Ability to execute a project with key critical business milestones, while supporting/enabling an agile delivery process


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
