Summary

About the Position: Serve as a Lead Program Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Headquarters - Military Integration Division.

Duties

Help

  • Serve as Lead Military Program Manager with responsibility for planning, organizing, integrating, and directing program management activities and for coordinating these activities with other operating elements of the Division and with the districts.
  • Manage program functions related to the design and construction of military projects within the Division's geographic boundaries.
  • Perform a range of coordinating, coaching, facilitating, problem solving, integrating, reviewing, and support duties in support of the unit.
  • Estimate and report to the team on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects, and tasks.
  • Facilitate resolution of project and program issues.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes managing projects or programs involving Military programs; participating in Project Review Board (PRB) meetings; and providing a regional perspective and insight on military program issues.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
