Full Job Description
We9re looking for a strategic operator and program manager to join the GTM Excellence team within Reddit9s GTM Strategy & Operations organization. GTM Excellence is responsible for transforming and scaling sales processes, policies, and programs to reduce friction in the sales cycle, drive systemic consistency, and increase seller productivity.

In this role, you will help shape how Reddit scales. You will own ambiguous, high-impact opportunities, turn them into clear recommendations, and lead the work from idea to execution. The right candidate brings strong judgment, a clear point of view on how Reddit should evolve its operations, and the ability to work across teams to drive change. This is a high-visibility role at the center of the Global Sales Organization9s operational excellence strategy, focused on building the systems and processes that maximize customer-facing time and create a seamless experience for Reddit advertisers.

Location: Hybrid. Chicago, IL; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and prioritize business problems: Break down ambiguous, high-impact opportunities into clear problem statements, develop hypotheses, drive analysis, and identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve how Reddit operates.
  • Decipher stakeholder feedback: Collect and translate feedback from a large group of stakeholders into clear, actionable business requirements.
  • Design scalable processes and operating models: Evaluate how work gets done today, identify friction points and root causes, and design simpler, more standardized processes, policies, and ways of working that improve seller productivity and the advertiser experience.
  • Develop policies and governance frameworks: Create clear, scalable policies and governance models that support consistent execution. Define guardrails, monitor adherence and effectiveness, and regularly review and update policies as business needs evolve.
  • Develop recommendations and decision-ready materials: Turn analysis into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and action plans. Create high-quality presentations, documents, and other deliverables that support executive discussion, decision-making, and alignment.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Central Operations, Revenue Strategy & Ops, Enablement, Product Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to gather input, pressure test ideas, align on the path forward, and accelerate execution.
  • Lead implementation and champion change: Own work from idea to execution, including rollout planning, stakeholder communication, training, and adoption. Be willing to wear multiple hats across strategy development, project management, and execution to move the work forward.
  • Measure impact and continuously improve: Define success metrics, track results, gather feedback, and refine processes over time. Establish governance and guardrails where needed to drive consistency without adding unnecessary complexity.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic program management, business process transformation, business operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and independently structure complex problems into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose root causes and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing standardized, scalable processes that improve operational efficiency and end-user experience.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional partners and driving alignment.
  • Experience leading change across cross-functional teams, from initial problem framing through implementation and adoption.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; this role requires an owner, not a coordinator.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in digital advertising.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments where judgment, prioritization, and initiative are critical.
  • Familiarity with sales tools and technology that improve seller efficiency and productivity, including workflow automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Background in consulting, strategy, or transformation roles, ideally with experience operating in-house after consulting.

Benefits:
  • Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs
  • 401k with Employer Match
  • Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support
  • Family Planning Support
  • Gender-Affirming Care
  • Mental Health & Coaching Benefits
  • Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off
  • Generous Paid Parental Leave

About Reddit

Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into user-created boards called "communities" or "subreddits", which cover topics such as news, politics, religion, science, movies, video games, music, books, sports, fitness, cooking, pets, and image-sharing. Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Although there are strict rules prohibiting harassment, it still occurs, and Reddit administrators moderate the communities and close or restrict them on occasion. Moderation is also conducted by community-specific moderators, who are not considered Reddit employees. As of September 2021, Reddit ranks as the 19th-most-visited website in the world and 7th most-visited website in the U.S., according to Alexa Internet. About 42–49.3% of its user base comes from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom at 7.9–8.2% and Canada at 5.2–7.8%. Twenty-two percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 29 years, and 14 percent of U.S. adults aged 30 to 49 years, regularly use Reddit. Reddit was founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, with Aaron Swartz, in 2005. Condé Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. In 2011, Reddit became an independent subsidiary of Condé Nast's parent company, Advance Publications. In October 2014, Reddit raised $50 million in a funding round led by Sam Altman and including investors Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Snoop Dogg, and Jared Leto. Their investment valued the company at $500 million then. In July 2017, Reddit raised $200 million for a $1.8 billion valuation, with Advance Publications remaining the majority stakeholder. In February 2019, a $300 million funding round led by Tencent brought the company's valuation to $3 billion. In August 2021, a $700 million funding round led by Fidelity Investments raised that valuation to over $10 billion.
