Job Summary:
We're looking for a strategic and technically proficient Product Manager to drive payments and advertising integration initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of PayPal's checkout technology, advertising platforms, and user-centric design principles. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute a product roadmap that bridges payments innovation and advertising capabilities, delivering measurable value to merchants and consumers alike.

Product Strategy & Vision
- Define, own, and execute the product roadmap for advertising solutions integrating PayPal's core payments features
- Leverage PayPal's checkout technology to deliver a seamless end-to-end consumer experience
- Build an ad format templated offering to optimize ad-targeting, measurement, and conversion rates
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment of product vision with company goals.

Technical Product Management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PayPal's payment APIs and checkout flows into advertising platforms.
- Develop technical requirements for real-time payment data integration with ad serving systems.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product.
  • Implements the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time-to-market, meeting customer needs and product profitability.
  • Controls for the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and as an input to decision making.
  • Monitors metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
  • Manages one or more workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
  • Participates in operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews. Interfaces with product leadership as needed.
  • Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualification:

  • 2+ years in advertising technology, digital marketing platforms, or e-commerce environments.


  • Proven track record of launching successful B2B or B2B2C products.


  • Expertise in API integrations, payment processing, and checkout optimization workflows.


  • Deep understanding of payment processing, including authorization, settlement, and fraud prevention systems.


  • Knowledge of advertising technology stacks (DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, attribution platforms).


  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their applicability to payments/ad tech.


  • Experience in product metrics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making methodologies.


  • Understanding of merchant behavior, consumer needs, and e-commerce ecosystems.


  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.


  • Prior experience at major payments companies, advertising platforms, or e-commerce marketplaces.


  • Background in merchant-facing products or B2B SaaS solutions.


  • Experience integrating machine learning into payments or advertising technologies.


  • Familiarity with retail media networks and the latest commerce advertising trends.
