  • Translates and articulates clinical, operational, and business stakeholder needs into easily understood solutions and product requirements.
  • Translates department and organizational strategy into a clear product vision, roadmap, and set of priorities for a portfolio of digital products and contributes to that strategy with well-formed recommendations.
  • Sets the standard for product craft on the team, including discovery, requirements, user stories, backlog, and agile practice, ensuring accommodation of clinical, regulatory, and/or operational requirements
  • Acts as a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible.
  • Drives delivery by phasing out the work, clearing or raising blockers proactively, and keeping the team on track to complete on time and reach set goals .
  • Gathers and handles product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing; makes product decisions and recommendations based on user needs, business goals, clinical realities, and operational capabilities.
  • Defines product goals and KPIs; monitors, reports, and improves product performance, making adjustments to the roadmap as needed; concurrently runs the roadmaps of a portfolio of products.
  • Continuously scans the market, including peer health systems, payers, digital health entrants, vendors, and shifts in policy and reimbursement, and brings opportunities and recommendations to leadership early, with a point of view on what it would take to pursue them.
  • Works closely with clinical and operational partners to understand how a product will actually work in practice, including care team and staffing implications, workflow, scheduling, and documentation, and reflects those realities in the product.
  • Takes initiative in an effort to improve initiative performance, whether pursuing a solution to an open question, missing analysis, or other gap.
  • Leads organizational change and adoption with clinical and operational teams so that new digital workflows become part of how care is delivered, and stays with the solution from ideation to implementation and growth.
