About this role:

The Lead Platform Support Engineer will be directly supportingPlatform Strategy and Transformation within CCIBT.

To be successful, you will need to be a focused, self-motivated technologist who prioritizes stability of the application and infrastructure above all else.

The individual will support a suite of applications across varying technologies

and partner with cross-organizational teams to ensure end-to-end platform engineering capabilities are implemented, ensuring resilience, high performance, and high availability of the applications


In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for production deployments, ensuring governance and controls and act as a gatekeeper for any production environment changes
  • Provide cross-functional and cross-organizational coordination on root cause analysis for any production issues
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
  • Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
  • Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
  • Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
  • Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e., applications to infrastructure) experience
  • Experience using Service Now for incident, change, and problem management
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend, and downstream interfaces

  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Position will require onsite presence at one of the posted location
