Full Job Description

We’re looking for an Operations & Internal Communications Lead to help our Communications organization operate at its best. This role partners closely with the VP of Communications and senior Communications leaders to improve how the team plans, collaborates, measures, and executes across a fast-moving global organization, and plays a key role driving our company-wide internal communications program.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thoughtful, and adaptable, with excellent judgment and strong interpersonal skills. They enjoy solving problems, improving how teams work, and bringing structure to complex, fast-moving environments. This role requires strong interest and investment in understanding Snap’s business, public narrative, internal company conversations, and the evolving media and technology landscape. This role reports to the VP of Communications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support internal communications programs, including coordination, drafting, editing, question review, executive response planning, and helping ensure internal topics are handled with appropriate judgment and context.

  • Help manage measurement and reporting across social, owned channels, media, and Communications programs, including learning and managing new tools, systems, and workflows.

  • Explore, evaluate, and help deploy AI tools and emerging technologies that improve productivity, planning, research, drafting, and execution across the Communications team.

  • Oversee operational work, across planning, budgeting, reporting, materials, and executive updates, while incorporating external and internal business context.

  • Identify operational gaps and improve workflows, tools, and processes as the Communications organization evolves.

  • Stay informed on technology, business, media, and communications trends to help bring useful context and ideas to the team.

  • Support VP of Communications’ day-to-day operational needs, including calendar support.

  • Comfort researching and deploying new tools, systems, and workflows, including AI, measurement, and reporting platforms.

  • Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of both operational details and broader team priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in operations, strategy, program management, executive support, consulting, communications, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, solve operational problems, and build scalable ways of working.

  • Experience working with business, media, social, measurement, internal communications, or operational reporting workflows.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$196,000 annually.

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $124,000-$186,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $111,000-$167,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
