The Opportunity:
The Lead Mission Scheduling Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing mission plans and schedules to ensure maximum SIGINT collection effectiveness across multiple operational missions.


Responsibilities:

  • You must have strong technical problem‑solving skills, the ability to work independently, and experience coordinating mission assets in near‑real‑time environments.
  • Build detailed mission schedules, tuning and tasking mission systems, and collaborating with both on‑site and remote customers to support mission execution and performance optimization.
  • Candidates must possess advanced DoD SIGINT operational experience, strong communication skills, proficiency across multiple software and UNIX/Linux‑based.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Typically requires greater than 4 years of application DoD experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Strong communication skills, highly motivated, and mission/team oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with local senior management and remote personnel.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress near-real-time environment and demands foresight and strong technical skills.
  • Capable of working with multiple computer software applications simultaneously

Desired:

  • Experience in any or all of the following systems: UNIX, web-based applications, operational chat rooms, SUN and/or Linux workstations, satellites and payload configurations
  • Previous certification in mission management disciplines or SIGINT analysis

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
