What You'll Do:

As our senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take charge of the mechanical design and development for LNG facility equipment and components. Your expertise will drive the creation of mechanical models, oversee procurement and assembly documentation, and manage critical design schedules. You'll work closely with suppliers, production teams, and project managers to ensure seamless execution from concept to commissioning, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally within LNG, petrochemical, pipeline, or heavy industrial environments
• Proven ability to lead complex projects with limited oversight
• Extensive experience in mechanical design, including sheet-metal, plastics, die casts, extrusions, and fastener systems
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Proficiency with mechanical bill of materials, assembly documentation, and design software

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supporting LNG facilities specifically
• Knowledge of process safety, permits, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in procurement management for mechanical prototypes
• Familiarity with design reviews and change management processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Industry-recognized certifications relevant to industrial or LNG engineering
• 7-10 years of relevant, hands-on experience in regulated industrial operations

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel as needed between sites and offices
• Ability to work a standard M-F schedule, 10-hour days
• Ability to operate within a safety-focused, regulated environment, emphasizing process safety, environmental compliance, and operational reliability
• This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $110-$112 and a $2,000 monthly living allowance (for non-local candidates)
