About the role

Job Description

The Lead Roving Maintenance Mechanic is a hands-on working lead responsible for executing and coordinating maintenance activities across the Roving Hub system. Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager, this role leads field teams, coordinates the Work Week Schedule, and ensures effective deployment of resources within a 45-minute hub radius to reduce reactive maintenance and improve reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a zero-compromise safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, including Stop Work Authority when needed.
  • Perform and oversee mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure high-quality, first-time execution.
  • Lead response for outages and critical events, ensuring safe and effective execution.
  • Coordinate and execute the Work Week schedule, providing real-time updates on progress and priorities.
  • Perform predictive maintenance activities (vibration, thermography, ultrasonic testing, calibrations) to prevent equipment failures.
  • Conduct QA/QC checks and provide hands-on coaching to strengthen team capability.
  • Support job planning and coordination with site and regional teams to improve readiness and execution.
  • Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, standardize processes, and improve performance.
  • Provide input on team performance and support development of technical skills across the team.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in a TTF or heavy industrial environment, including 2+ years in a lead role.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; technical or journeyman background preferred.
  • Strong multi-craft mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems knowledge.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance tools and CMMS/ALM systems.
  • MA Hoisting License (1C/2C/3A) required or ability to obtain.
  • Lean training preferred.
  • Ability to travel within a 45-minute radius of the assigned hub.
  • Strong leadership and field execution skills in high-pressure environments.

This role is essential to driving safe, efficient, and proactive maintenance execution across the regional hub network.

Employees in this role will receive a 15% premium applied to their base compensation.

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $84,734.00 - $116,603.00
