The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-time Lead It Specialist (infosec) (NH-2210-03) to work for Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the 72 ABW, at Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all Tinker AFB information systems and data. This is accomplished through the successful implementation of cybersecurity, communications security, emissions security, computer security, and information technology portfolio management programs. Serves as a lead IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) program manager and senior subject matter expert, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative corporate policies, practices, and processes for the management of cybersecurity. Performs official lead duties over subordinate employees overseeing projects, assignments and studies within the Cybersecurity Branch.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

1) Knowledge of agency and local computer systems security requirements in sufficient depth to advise on modifying and adapting existing security approaches to meet special requirements.

2) Knowledge of current automated information systems security developments as they relate to hardware, systems software, telecommunications, and systems design and development techniques to provide advice and guidance on issues such as alternative security packages, their acquisition, and use.

3) Knowledge of DOD and agency policies, procedures, regulations, directives and requirements related to information security. This knowledge is used to assist in development of guidance and procedures for the installation, to identify vulnerabilities, and to assess potential security violations or problems through analysis of audit trails and log files.

4) Knowledge of agency information processing standards, policies, and procedures to analyze and advise managers on systems security matters and evaluate the need for changes in existing policies and procedures.

5) Knowledge of equipment characteristics, computer techniques, requirements, methods and procedures to include familiarity with approaches used by organizations in other agencies and/or the private sector in order to evaluate alternatives and provide advice and assistance to managers.

6) Knowledge of agency and local computer systems security requirements in sufficient depth to advise on and implement environmental control measures, risk assessment and quantitative justification of physical security controls, backup and recovery for the data processing installation and telecommunications systems, and contingency planning for events ranging from fault disruption to fire, water, smoke and electrical problems to disaster recovery.

7) Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to COMSEC equipment.

8) Knowledge of the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Configuration Management.
