Summary

You will serve as a lead inventory management specialist in the Supply Branch of the Property Management Division of the Corporate Operations Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

Help

  • You will manage and execute the Command Inventory Plan, direct physical inventories, location surveys, and location reconciliations.
  • You will research and resolve inventory discrepancies and initiate and review DD Form 200 as the reviewing authority.
  • You will be delegated as an approving authority for up to $75K when there is no suspicion of neglect, theft, or negligence.
  • You will oversee the inventory and compliance team, ensuring that reports, metrics, and compliance measures are effectively implemented and tracked.
  • You will analyze difficult and complex issues related to inventory accuracy and data management.
  • You will establish ongoing communications with Keyport technical departments as related to the inventory plan.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the oversight of inventory management and fiancial audit readiness for an organization.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
