Full Job Description
Job Description

The Lead Integration Engineer is Badger's senior hands-on builder for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), personally designing, developing, and troubleshooting the most complex and business-critical integrations across the Oracle landscape. Beyond building, the role helps establish and uphold the integration standards, patterns, and review practices the platform runs on, and quality-reviews the designs and deliverables of implementation partners. This is a senior individual-contributor, build-first role: the priority is current, deep, hands-on delivery, with the depth of design and standards involvement scaled to experience and the maturity of the function.

The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Personally designs, develops, and delivers Badger's most complex, business-critical OIC integrations end to end.
  • Top hands-on troubleshooter - diagnoses and resolves the hardest integration failures and unblocks other builders.
  • Reviews and quality-checks implementation-partner designs, TDDs, and builds before development and before production.
  • Establishes and evolves Badger's OIC standards, patterns, and review practices from today's baseline.
  • Helps establish and uphold integration standards and mentors partners and engineers as a senior individual contributor.

What You'll Need for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • 8+ years building enterprise integrations hands-on, including 4+ years on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC/ICS).
  • Deep hands-on OIC development (orchestration, XSLT, adapters, fault handling, DVMs).
  • Can analyze integration artifacts (XML, XSLT, JCA, DVM) and diagnose failures quickly.
  • At least one current Oracle Integration Cloud certification (required); OCI a plus.
  • Aptitude to deepen integration architecture and standards expertise over time.
  • The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.

If you feel you don't have the experience listed above, but still think you are qualified for the job, we encourage you to apply for consideration.

What You'll Get In Return:
  • Generous salary and bonus program(s)
  • Low-cost Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Retirement Plan with Employer Matching Contributions
  • Attractive Vacation Programs
  • Inclusive Group Life Insurance

  • Valuable Employee Training Program(s)
