Responsibilities

  • Prepare kits to ensure Field Service Engineers have all necessary tools before starting jobs.
  • Develop kitting schedules aligned with preventative maintenance cycles.
  • Analyze historical demand to adjust planning and validate forecasts.
  • Manage inventory levels, including excess and obsolete stock.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and part lifecycle transitions.
  • Monitor and validate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data and resolve integrity issues.
  • Act as primary liaison among Field Service Engineers, Customer Service Representatives, Buyers, Forecasters, and Logistics.

Full Job Description
The Spares Planner & Clean Kit Management Planner ensures that all scheduled sanitation and maintenance activities are meticulously planned, kitted, and scheduled. This role bridges the gap between Field service engineers, Service Operations and Logistics, reducing downtime waiting for parts through proactive planning, material management, and scheduling.

The expectation for this position is the ability to work independently and able to multi task on daily operational responsibilities in deadline driven environment. The individual could demonstrate strong commitment to drive results. This position requires the highest level of communication, ownership, responsiveness. Data integrity and attention to detail are paramount.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years in related field); College courses in industrial engineering, supply chain, and business administration preferred.

Experience

  • 8 or more years' experience as a planner, expeditor or related experience with inventory control and/or supply chain studies.
  • Spares planning is desirable.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, planning master data management, purchase order expedites, spares logistics, inventory control theories with prior experience related to semiconductor, electronics industry or related high-volume customers are desirable.


Skills
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong ability to analyze large datasets, interpret complex data, and derive meaningful insights.
  • highest level of communicative competence
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is always a plus


Job Description
  • Kit Preparation: Build "kits" to ensure Field service engineer / Customer have everything needed for the job before starting.
  • Kit Planning & Scheduling: Develop kitting schedules that align with PM cycle.
  • Inventory & Supplier Management:
  • Analyze historical demand, adjust planning & validate forecasts.
  • Manage stocking levels, E&O and inventory rebalancing.
  • Support NPI planning, initial stocking strategies, and part lifecycle transitions.
  • Monitor and validate MRP accuracy. Responsible & resolves data integrity issues. Responds to MRP validation inquiries from purchasing community.
  • Expediting materials when foreseeing shortage in material horizontal table.
  • Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between FSE, CSR, Buyer, Forecaster, and Logistics.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead cross-functional meetings to drive the commitments or results.
  • Regular analysis report and Ad-Hoc analysis support are both required.
