Cloud is at the heart of OpenText's innovation and transformation, and as a Lead FinOps Specialist, you will play a key role in maximizing the value of our cloud investments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This highly visible position combines financial expertise, technical insight, and strategic influence, empowering you to partner with Development, Finance, and leadership teams to drive smarter decisions, improve forecasting, optimize spending, and strengthen cloud governance. More than managing cloud costs, you'll help turn our multi-cloud environment into a strategic business advantage while delivering measurable impact across the organization.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Cloud cost optimization: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Cost-reduction execution: Drive rightsizing, storage optimization, and commitment strategies
  • Forecasting & budgeting: Build and maintain cloud spend forecasts and variance analysis
  • Financial alignment: Partner with FP&A to tie cloud spend to financial plans

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • FinOps experience: 8-12+ years (Senior) or 12-15+ years (Principal) in cloud financial management
  • Multi-cloud expertise: Hands-on experience managing spend across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
  • Cross-functional leadership: Ability to influence Engineering, Finance, and Procurement
  • Cloud pricing knowledge: Deep understanding of billing constructs and optimization levers
  • Financial modeling: Strong forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities
  • FinOps tooling: Experience with cloud cost management platforms
  • Data skills: Advanced Excel, SQL, and/or BI tools
  • Executive communication: Ability to translate cloud consumption into business insights
  • Change leadership: Proven ability to drive adoption of new processes
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to shape long-term FinOps strategy and maturity

Salary Range: $86,800 - $130,200 Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
