As a Lead Finance Systems Analyst (O2C), you'll sit at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Business Transformation, helping OpenText optimize the systems and processes that power our Order to Cash journey.

You'll partner with Finance leaders, business owners, IT, and cross-functional teams to turn business needs into practical solutions, from process improvements and automation to large-scale Finance projects. Your work will help make our systems more efficient, scalable, and effective while shaping how Finance operates across a global technology company.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as a trusted Finance partner for SAP projects, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a primary focus on Order to Cash
  • Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and design solutions aligned with business goals
  • Lead workshops and evaluate current processes against SAP best practices and industry standards
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize Finance processes
  • Support complex, cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, including requirements, process design, milestones, and success measures
  • Identify dependencies and risks and help keep projects aligned and moving forward
  • Support data migration, UAT, change management, and training to help ensure successful implementations
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and Finance leadership
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, IT, and other business functions to drive alignment and successful outcomes

What It Takes
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience working with SAP in a Finance functional role, including implementation, configuration, optimization, or automation
  • Strong understanding of Order to Cash (O2C) and how it connects to broader Finance processes such as Record to Report and Procure to Pay/Source to Pay
  • Experience working on large, cross-functional Finance or technology initiatives
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause identification skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels of the organization
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and driving initiatives forward

Nice to Have (Not a Deal Breaker)
  • CPA designation or direct Finance business experience
  • Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification
  • Project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Value Edge
  • Change management methodologies and tools
  • Finance transformation, ERP implementation, or process automation experience

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $92,320 - $138,480 CAD. Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
