Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of experience in field controls, commissioning, or industrial power plant operations with PLC-DCS systems.
• Experience in instrumentation installation, loop checking, and calibration within active plant environments.
• Background in water-tube and package boiler control systems with tuning experience.
• Strong knowledge of field safety procedures and hazard mitigation in industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to undertake both short- and long-term field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and startup activities for control systems across various facilities.
• Serve as a technical authority for specific control systems including Rockwell and Emerson solutions.
• Verify instrumentation installation, conduct loop checks, and perform functional tests for commissioning.
• Conduct boiler combustion testing and tuning in coordination with plant operations.
• Plan and execute field work by understanding project scope and requirements before mobilization.
• Produce necessary documentation including commissioning reports and test records.
• Collaborate with plant staff and contractors to ensure safe execution of field tasks.
• Contribute to business development through technical input and cost estimation for proposals.
