Lead Fertility Nurse who is passionate about patient care, team development, and clinical excellence. This is a unique opportunity to remain hands-on with patients while providing leadership, mentorship, and operational support to a team of fertility nurses.
In this role, you will serve as a clinical expert and trusted leader, helping guide patients through their fertility journey while ensuring your team delivers an exceptional patient experience. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurse leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to drive quality care, improve workflows, and support the continued growth of one of the world's leading fertility organizations.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM, with rotating weekend coverage.

Job Purpose: The Lead Nurse is an REI Nurse that directs patient care and related activities according to IVI RMA's policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. This is a responsible position that must work with minimal supervision. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities: - Provides hands-on patient care as a practicing REI Nurse.
- Acts as a resource for nursing staff, addressing clinical questions and providing guidance on patient care.
- Provides overall leadership to ensure nurses have a clear sense of their role and understand what is required to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
- Reviews scheduled patient appointments and creates weekly nursing assignments
- Ensures patients are distributed as evenly as possible amongst the staff
- Monitors active patient volume per nurse
- Communicates with Nurse Manager/Physician Lead when NP/RP numbers consistently exceed benchmark
- Works collaboratively with Nurse Manager to provide support and facilitate compliance with Nursing policies and procedures.
- Facilitates regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide education on new protocols or initiatives.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and patient throughput and satisfaction.
- Collaborates with Nurse Manager and Practice Operator to maintain compliance with OSHA, QA, and Risk Management programs; Identifies and anticipates safety and health concerns by regularly assessing environmental, operational, and occupational conditions.
Supervisor Responsibilities: - Participates in the recruitment, selection, retention, training and supervision of nurses to ensure the delivery of the highest quality patient care.
- Coordinates onboarding, training, and development of new nursing staff at the site.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations, provides feedback, and addresses performance concerns in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
- Addresses patient concerns or complaints related to nursing care promptly and effectively.
- Maintains organization of team members' timesheets, PTO, etc. to ensure that tasks are properly carried out.
- Transmit the Company's policies (health and safety, labor legislation, training, etc.) to ensure compliance.
Academic Training: - Active RN license without limitations - required

- BSN Degree-highly preferred
- Studies level: University Education (Bachelor's Degree)
- Studies area: Nursing
- BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferred
- Studies level: Certification
- Studies area: BCLS/ACLS
Position Requirements/Experience: - 2+ years' experience in reproductive medicine.
- Previous Team Lead or Supervisor experience - preferred
- Knowledge and experience in implementing all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations relative to a physician practice
Technical Skills: - Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excel and PowerPoint skills - preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and clinical documentation.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on reproductive endocrinology and infertility care.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
