Job Overview

Position Summary

The DR Analyst supports the TE Disaster Recovery (DR) program by coordinating DR planning, execution, testing, governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement activities. The DR Analyst will work closely with DR leadership, application owners, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to ensure DR requirements are maintained and executed consistently across the organization. This role ensures organizational resilience by validating recoverability, meeting RTO/RPO objectives, and aligning DR capabilities with regulatory, audit, and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Disaster Recovery Planning & Documentation
• Support the development, maintenance, and quality review of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
• Coordinate plan updates with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure DR documentation remains current, complete, and aligned with corporate standards.
• Track remediation items resulting from DR plan reviews and assessments.
• Coordinate recovery and incident response activities.

DR Testing Coordination
• Coordinate and lead disaster recovery exercises, tabletop tests, technical recovery tests, and failover activities across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and third-party vendors.
• Validate RT, RPO, MTD, and data consistency across DR events.
• Support scheduling, stakeholder communications, testing logistics, and evidence collection.
• Track test results, lessons learned, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with expanding DR testing and plan coverage across additional applications and region

Governance & Compliance Support
• Review and coordinate requests related to DR information maintained in the CMDB.
• Support validation of DR metrics, recovery objectives, and application recovery requirements.
• Assist with governance processes related to DR exceptions, deviations, and risk acceptance activities.
• Maintain records and audit evidence supporting DR compliance requirements.

Other Responsibilities

ServiceNow / CMDB Administration Support
• Assist in managing DR-related records and workflow activities within ServiceNow and CMDB processes.
• Coordinate updates associated with recovery tiers, DR status, testing records, and related configuration data.

Reporting & Metrics
• Produce recurring DR status reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Track compliance against DR planning and testing requirements.
• Monitor action-item completion and provide reporting on program progress.

Project & Program Support
• Provide project coordination support for DR initiatives and strategic roadmap activities.
• Assist with meeting preparation, action-item tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Support execution of DR program improvement initiatives and roadmap deliverables

Cross-Team Coordination
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and external partners.
• Facilitate communications during DR exercises and recovery readiness activities.
• Serve as a coordination point for DR-related requests and inquiries.

Artificial Intelligence & Automation Skills (Preferred)
• DR Test automation and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Generative AI tools specifically Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve disaster recovery documentation, plan maintenance, test reporting, and knowledge management.

Experience (minimum Years required)
• 5-7 years of experience of related work experience in the Information Technology discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in Disaster Recovery/Technology Resiliency.

• Knowledge of recovery technologies, cloud resiliency, backup and replication solutions.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Time management and prioritization.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $121,900- $ 182,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
