Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Preferred MA in Computer Science
• Proficiency in Argo CD and Argo Workflows
• Expertise in IaC: Terraform and Terragrunt
• Experience in Kubernetes and related plugins
• Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, Fargate, Aurora)
• Knowledge in Security and Compliance best practices
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Competence in using logging and monitoring tools
• Scripting and programming with relevant languages
• Experience with database management
• Proficiency with version control using Git
• Strong skills in incident management

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of SREs, including FTEs and contractors
• Define tasks and provide feedback on pull requests to SREs
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding solutions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and enforce permanent fixes
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Drive infrastructure improvements, advocating for best practices
• Establish disaster recovery plans ensuring system availability
